Library Trustees and
special focus groups have long explored expansion of the existing
facility, relocation or construction of a new building. Their findings
point conclusively to a capital fund drive for construction of a new
library building to face south on 5th Street between Mill and Bell
Streets.
The proposed building includes a public
meeting room and approximately 10,000 sq.ft, of usable library space.
Estimated cost of construction is $1.9
million.
