Beloit Regional Office
Mitchell,
Jewell and Lincoln Counties
Service For Developmental Disabilities
OCCK
Beloit Regional Office has been providing quality services to individuals
with disabilities since 1976. We
offer a variety of paid employment opportunities from community placement,
enclave opportunities at a local manufacturing plant and training in our
facility on prime and sub-contracts.
If work is not the primary interest, we offer many other activities
tailored to the individuals interests.
We also provide living opportunities in a many ways,
from the traditional residential model to independent living
support.model. The individual can
have as little or as much support needed to live independently in the
community.
All individuals have an active part in developing their
services through their Essential Life Planning. Through the process, the individual
explores different opportunities, and identifies what skills they would
need to become more independent.
Many individuals are utilizing their computer skills to develop
their own power point to present this information to their support team.
One of our priorities is to meet the needs of the
community. We are meeting the needs
through the operation of the county recycling center, labor pool for
businesses, work force investment program, assistive technology program, and
the independent connection program.
We will continue to provide individualized support to
ensure that each and every individual’s needs are being meet.
