The Mitchell County Hospital serves Beloit, and the surrounding
communities, with a mission that focuses on the deliverance of
high-performance health care to patients with the utmost in modern
technology. Established in 1929, the hospital has evolved as a
progressive 45 bed Acute Care facility with an attached 40 bed Long
Term Care Unit, and offers the services of nine staff physicians
that are well-established within the community and surrounding area.
An active Board of Trustees serves as a liaison between the hospital
and Great Plains Health Alliance (www.gpha.com),
to which the hospital is leased and serves to assist with financial
services, management, and reimbursement.
